The Al Dunning Draw Rope Martingale from Schutz Brothers is an innovative way to train your horse for the proper head position. The Draw Rope, designed by horseman Al Dunning, lets you gently draw the horse’s head into the desired position. The pull is then transferred, with the use of knots in the rope, directly to the bit or snaffle. With this system, the pull is not longer coming from the rope once you’ve achieved the head position you want. The rope stays in position securely with the neck strap, preventing a slack rope from dropping too far down. Your horse won’t accidentally step or trip on the rope. Al Dunning Draw Rope comes in one size and can be adjusted with the strap beween the legs. The neck strap is adjustable as well.
